Humanity Quotes & Nature Peace Quotes for Your Soul

I have created humanity quotes, as well as nature peace quotes.  The current state of the world’s suffering compelled me to do so.

At this time, we are living on a heartbroken island.  Covid-19 has stripped the warmth of human touch and companionship; and many have lost loved ones.  We’ve also seen the worst humanity has to offer in the brutal murder of George Floyd.  Grief is echoing across the world for change.

With such despair, it is a moment for hope and vision to lift a paintbrush; sketch a new wise horizon.   We are powerless to so much.  But not to this.  We are never too far from the imagination.

And Love is always within us to the lead the way, if only we open our hearts.

Humanity Quotes

To exist on the outskirts of your soul is to half live and barely love.

If we are not in touch with our souls, we are not connected to our higher selves. For when we live from this rooted place, life flows with reverence for all people, and living things. We are open, present, and purposeful.

On the other hand, to divorce oneself from soul leads to loneliness and fear. It also breeds mistrust, hatred, and narrow-mindedness.

There’s a dream I like to visit when the world hurts far too much. It’s composed of diverse windows; mosaic reflections of pure Love.

It is said that the eyes are the window to the soul. If only we looked deeply enough into others to unlock their stories devoid of our own; to pause, and stay there for a stretch. Then, the world might be a different place.⁣

We must work together to effect change, and see beauty in all people as we do so.   May humanity one day live out this mosaic dream of pure Love.

The window to the soul isn’t made with glass that breaks. It’s created with compassion; the healer of heartache.

The eyes are fragile portals.  They can mask pain; but also reveal it in naked moments.  Turning away from despair leaves the world on a soulless track.

Instead, searching to understand, and holding compassion as we do so, can alter humanity’s course for the better.  Healing can only begin when we truly see the existence of suffering.  Listen.  Empathize.

On this stony island of despair, grant us the vision to paint a horizon; deep, lovely, and fair.

This humanity quote speaks to despair as a captor.  But it also evokes hope.  For the only way out of darkness is to imagine a new horizon, and to work in that direction.

Nature Peace Quotes

The clouds form in which way they must, sailing one skyline with purpose and trust.

Clouds are like people, not only do they come and go in our lives, but each may be formed differently, as we all are. ⁣The skyline is that beautiful breathing place of shelter for clouds to be who they are, unique in shape and purpose. Some may share rain or snow, and still others may float by, rousing our imaginations, stirring our wonder. But they all seem to trust that the sky above is where they belong, and it’s best to sail that path together.⁣

My greatest wish for us is to be like the clouds. Move forward with intent on this earth, believing in one another. I hope one day we live this horizon of unity.

Trees listen to the breeze; & then, rustle its voice so beautifully.

My daughter, Summer, didn’t speak until she was four years old.  She has autism.  But she did listen.  In fact, she can tell me things I said verbatim when she was only two or three years old.  I noticed early on her intense connection to nature, and the silent language shared between the two.

Recently, we took a forest walk.  I asked if she wanted to create her own quote.  She paused, and stared at the trees with the familiarity I witnessed before she could speak.  She then said, “Trees listen to the breeze.”

I created a mom/daughter quote in honor of her ten-year-old wisdom.  Listening deeply is an art form to practice.  On a basic human level, we all simply want to be heard.

Nature teaches us how to live, love, and grow alongside each other.

Over the ages, humans have built gates, and walls, and other structures as barriers.  Nature, however, interconnects with its every facet of being.

In this diverse landscape, we can view a profound portrait of living, loving, and growing.

In a world of constant change and streaming technology, I find solace in the forest where a tree remains a tree.

Technology has created marvels; at the same time, it has progressed so quickly that it’s hard to keep up.  It has also flooded us with information and stolen moments of pure presence.

In order for humanity to thrive, we need alone time to deepen the soul.  Nature is the surest portal to reach this place of solitude and calm.

Indeed, a tree is a perfect symbol to remind us to still the mind and branch open the heart.  It is also a constant in an ever-changing world.

We travel this earth with one heart, a sun beneath our skin.

We are gifted one heart in this lifetime. It is our choice to treat it as a powerful organ, like the sun, and shine warmth. Love.

Summer settled into the mist, a honeysuckLove arrives in nature’s hush, a silent world the soul can touch. le dream, sunlit bliss.

When we are silent in the nature, the  soul speaks one word, “Love.”

Dusk is nature’s whisper hour; a time for wisdom to rise and flower.

Dusk is that soul-searching space that bridges day to night. As sunlight mutes, paving the way to darkness, it offers quiet moments to reflect, and process the day’s events. Twilight is the perfect time to assess what worked, and what didn’t. Beneath the shadow, we can take an honest look at both the good and the bad. In doing so, the soul whispers wisdom; and nature gives room for it to rise and flower. ⁣⁣

If we dig deep enough, perhaps we can even find the root of Love, and how to make our world just and beautiful for every soul. ⁣ I wrote this nature peace quote with this in mind.

As the sun whispers goodbye in soft gold, it hugs the earth as one beautiful soul.

Every evening, the sun sets in a radiant farewell; a seeming moment of unity between earth and sky. This is a profound reminder of the beauty in oneness.

My heart is hungry for the spread of stars to nourish me in Nature’s awe.

Feed your soul with Nature’s awe. Connect to the majesty of living, and the mystery of life. A simple trip outside to gaze at the stars will do it, where you can feel magic, and your place within it.

Satiate the parts of you that are hungry for belonging and nourishment. Be one with Nature. It is a portal to feeling one with humanity, too.

Inner Peace Quotes

We are fragile in nature. Love still holds us near.

The human state is that of fragility. Our bodies can give up on us. People can, too. At times, the heart can feel broken, and the soul depleted.

Love still shows up, stays, and reminds us that even with our flaws, fragility, and pain, we are all a work of art. If only we looked at each other through this lens, how the world could blossom for the better.

Here I’ll stay beneath your tears, a heart-soaked rainfall not to fear.

At times, we may feel reticent to merge into another’s pain field, and be present. In doing so, there is a primal fear that our own well-being will drown. But I have found it can be the opposite. When there for people who are struggling, we are watering our souls to grow, and providing solace at the same time.⁣

When the soul knows peace, the heart can sleep.

The world is in a state of turmoil. So, how can the heart feel anything but heavy?

Peace can never arrive unless the darkness is excavated, looked at through the lens of truth, and dealt with in a fair and measured way.  This takes work, and periods of intense discomfort. But the end result is a pathway to a more just place for us all to inhabit.

Then, the heart can rest knowing the world has treated it well.  This inner peace quote reflects this sentiment.

Without darkness there would be no sleep; a time to nurture the dreams we keep.

Sometimes, we have to dive deep into the dark to resurface with a dream.  One that is so beautiful, the soul knows it’s a gem, and works to shine it daily.

I can’t think of a lovelier dream than a world in which we all feel safe and supported to grow into the best version of ourselves.

I have one body, but countless ways to use it for good.

We are gifted only one body in this lifetime. With so many vast experiences in this world, you could view it as confining.

Or you could seek to know many people from all walks of life, and that one body can now be populated with knowledge. And when you then use it for good, it’s a blessing not only for your soul, but for everyone around you.

Beneath the sunlight of our souls, may humanity one day mine Love as gold.

May we find gold in each other. Love. 💛

I hope these humanity quotes and nature peace quotes have touched your soul.

I dedicate this post to George Floyd.  His final words, “I can’t breathe,” were followed by a call for his mother.  As a mom and a former teacher to African American students who still are my children in my soul, this is beyond heartbreaking.  Every person should reach into their heart and feel this injustice and sadness on a deep level.

May we work together to create a reality that is born from Love, equality, inclusion, and kindness.

And may George Floyd’s last words serve as a moving call to action.
